Fonda Global was proud to have been part of the Enviro Tech Innovation Hub (ETIH@TP) working visit at Temasek Polytechnic on 23 April 2024, where our Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Dr. Amy Khor, witnessed the signing of two Memorandum of Understandings between Temasek Polytechnic and Fonda Global Engineering, together with 11 industry partners, pledging their support towards the advancement of the Environmental Service sector.

During the event, Fonda Global showcased their Automated Lavatory Cleaning (ALAC), a cleaning robot prototype that was designed and developed to automate traditional toilet bowl cleaning processes. SMS Dr. Khor had the opportunity to witness a live demonstration of the ALAC system in action, and saw how this innovative technology could reduce the physical workload for cleaning crew and improve the overall efficiency of toilet cleaning maintenance.

The first MOU signing between Fonda Global and Temasek Polytechnic was led by Group CCO of Fonda Global Engineering Pte Ltd Sam Chiong Kok Hon, CFM, FMP, CFME-Tier 1, signaling the common desire and commitment to provide comprehensive training and consultancy services in digitalisation and industrial transformation for the Environmental Service industry through the curation and delivery of Continuing Education & Training (CET) courses and training materials, as well as furthering the development and commercialisation of innovative engineering solutions.

The second MOU signing between Fonda Global Engineering and 11 industry partners seeks to explore the advancement of the Automated Lavatory Cleaning (ALAC) project by leveraging on each entity’s complementary capabilities including skills, knowledge, technical know-hows and expertise in the development and commercialisation of the ALAC system.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Fonda Global’s journey to drive digitalisation and industrial transformation in the Environmental Service industry, spearheading meaningful change and shaping a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for Singapore.
