Fonda Global is a leading Design and Build Specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the performance of Construction and Civil Engineering Works in Singapore. As a registered Grade A1 contractor in General Building works with the Singapore Building & Construction Authority (BCA), Fonda Global can perform public-sector design and build projects of unlimited contract value.
Over the past few decades, we have performed a comprehensive range of projects both in the Public and Private Sectors, including:
- Residential construction projects for the Singapore Housing & Development Board (HDB)
- Installation & Upgrading Works in Military bases for the Singapore Ministry of Defense (MINDEF)
- Construction Projects and upgrading works for educational institutes (schools) for the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE)
- Upgrading Works in Hospitals and Polyclinics for the Ministry of Health (MOH)
- Construction of Singapore Expo Extension (Max Atria) for the Singapore Tourism Board
- Construction of the regional headquarters of COSL, a leading oilfield services provider from China
As a general contractor that offers end-to-end solutions, aside from the construction of the required infrastructure (for residential, industrial, or commercial use) we are also to perform project conceptualization, feasibility studies, design works and project management. Additionally, our team of experienced in-house architects and engineers are able to offer innovative and customized design ideas and solutions to meet our clients’ unique needs.
Practical and effective use of Technology:
Fonda is a strong believer in using technology as an enabler and we are always exploring new technologies and innovative solutions to improve our efficiency and provide our clients with better results.
Among our initiatives is the use of Advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) Software to facilitate informed decision-making and efficient construction coordination. This allows us to deliver quality projects that meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. We are also able to leverage on powerful Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) techniques to create realistic 3D models for our construction projects, identifying potential risks and issues during the planning stages of the project, thereby avoiding costly delays and disruptions during the construction phase.
Aside from software solutions, we also make practical use of advanced hardware to manage projects, including deploying sophisticated drones to conduct aerial surveys of construction sites, topographic mapping, land surveys, and other related applications. Such technology allows us to quickly identify and resolve potential problems on-site whilst also reducing over-reliance on manpower.
