Site Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To be involved in the planning and execution of civil and structural works
• Assist the Project manager and Construction Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the projects
• To prepare method of statement, construction sequencing, sketches, and other technical submissions
• To monitor the execution of the site works and further review and develop the method and/or sequence of the works to ensure safety and efficiency
• To collaborate with peers, and to liaise with trade contractors, clients and consultants and ensure timely delivery of quality services
• To prepare Inspection and Test Plan, and conduct inspection and check on works performed
• Check the drawings discrepancies and conduct field verification, and submit technical clarification to the clients and consultants
• Ensure updated drawings including shop drawings are used by the site team in a timely manner
• Prepare site record and submit to office in a timely manner
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of reports and presentation to management, clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building projects and/or geotechnical projects
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures
• Familiar with precast concrete will be an added advantage
• Proactive, responsible and keen to work in a team
• Excellent interpersonal, good verbal and written communication skills
